Turbo Technology Ford 7.3L Power Stroke Diesel

STAGE I: Ford has built a great exhaust system for the 7.3L Power Stroke. However, they forgot the importance of the Turbine outlet pipe. We have designed a 3" Mandrel bent Turbine outlet pipe that reduces the back pressure at the Turbine wheel, which allows the Turbo to operate more efficiently. A fabric high flow air filter is included to improve the intake capacity & reduce restriction. The Boost & Pyrometer gauge package included is a great tuning & diagnostic tool. These gauges are lighted and include a mounting kit for easy installation

STAGE II: (Includes Stage I) The Power Stroke produces 15-20 psi of manifold pressure that causes air intake temperatures to be higher than normal. Higher air intake temperatures reduce horsepower, engine efficiency, raises exhaust temperatures, and overall engine operating temperature. This intercooler for the Ford Power Stroke diesel can reduce air intake temperatures over 200 degrees and lower exhaust temperatures over 150 degrees, while towing. Theoretically, for every 10 degree drop in air intake temperature, an engine can increase performance 1%. For example, reducing the air intake temperature 200 degrees would equal (200/10 * 1%) a 20% gain in performance. In addition, lowering exhaust temperatures can increase engine efficiency, extend life and reduce engine operating temperatures. Testing this intercooler while towing has resulted in the ability to pull the same grade in the next highest gear at approximately 8-14 mph faster.

STAGE III: The by-pass turbine housing will give a great increase in horsepower and torque because of its twin volute design. This design allows for quick boost acceleration with great top end and towing power. The by-passing of exhaust gasses is carried out through additional passages in the exhaust housing. All of this is adjustable and controlled by the wastegate attached to the housing.
