This innovative Mass Airflow Sensor for GM LT1, LS1 and Vortec V6s and V8s is a 50-state legal replacement unit that features 47% more airflow capacity than the stock sensor and state-of-the-art hybrid electronics. The advanced, active electronic module packaged within the sensor provides improved control of both ignition and injector timing, contributing to a performance gain of 10-15 horsepower at the rear wheels.
This Mass Airflow Sensor installs in just minutes and it is housed in a rugged high impact injection molded body to reduce heat soak, a problem that is common with the stock metal sensor. Installation does not affect mileage or drivability under normal conditions. Towing performance is remarkably improved when the sensor is used on 1996-98 V6 and/or V8 Vortec engines in GM pickups and SUVs.
